Dogsleigh rides

On the Ardéchois plateau, in the beautiful setting of the Gerbier de Jonc, come discover the world of sled dogs. On the same principle as cani-snowshoeing, but with cross-country skiis on your feet with or without a pulk.

You will meet with Samoyed, huskies, Greenland eskimos and Alaskan Malamutes. Beyond the complexity of the life in pack of these primitive dogs close to the wolf, you will have the possibility to observe their devotion at work for the humans and you will practice dog sledging. In winter you will be initiated to this activity near the sources of the Loire or around the Mount Mézenc next to Les Estables. In summer, you will practice hiking with dogs or summer dog sled on the "Montagne Ardéchoise" or on the site of Chaudeyrac near the Saint Front lake.
